All three suspects allegedly linked to a shooting in Sooke last Tuesday are now in custody following two more arrests Sunday night.

Josh Lafleur and an unnamed 21-year-old man from Sooke, were arrested after police received a tip early Sunday afternoon that the men were hiding in a Sooke home on Kirby Road.

Police were able to confirm that the men were inside the home, but waited for the Vancouver Island emergency response team to arrive before taking action

Around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, with help from a police service dog, the two men were found hiding in the home’s crawl space.

The suspects are expected to make a court appearance this morning.

Dustin David Brown, who was arrested Wednesday following a traffic stop, is charged with two counts of attempted murder using a firearm.

Two men were found shot last Tuesday night on Ella Road, one suffering a gunshot wound to his bicep, the other shot in the torso.

Police may be releasing more information this morning when the Sooke RCMP’s detachment commander answers media questions at 11 a.m.
