South Cowichan Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 4479
Notice is hereby given by the Cowichan Valley Regional District that the Board of Directors will consider 1st and 2nd reading of South Cowichan Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 4479 at the regular Board meeting on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. Persons who believe their interest in property is affected by the proposed Bylaw may participate by electronic means or in-person.
PURPOSE OF THE PROPOSED BYLAW
South Cowichan Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 4479 Subject Property: 3265 Telegraph Road (PID: 008-145-067)
Legal Description: LOT 1, SECTION 9, RANGE 9, SHAWNIGAN DISTRICT, PLAN 950, EXCEPT PART IN PLAN 23696
The purpose of proposed South Cowichan Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 4479 is to amend the South Cowichan Zoning Bylaw No. 3520, 2012, by:
• Rezoning the subject property from A-1 – Agricultural Resource 1 Zone to A-2 Village Agricultural 2 Zone

A copy of South Cowichan Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 4479, along with other materials that may be considered by the Board in arriving at a decision, are available for public inspection. These materials may be examined at the Regional District Land Use Services Department office, 175 Ingram Street, Duncan, BC, from April 27, 2023, to May 9, 2023, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays.
