In Loving Memory ~
The family of Adelaide Zerr of Shawnigan Lake, BC are saddened to announce her passing on Monday, August 26, 2024 at age 96.
She is lovingly remembered by her son Herbert (Belsie); daughter Margaret (George) Farris; son Erwin (Sharlane); her grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Adelaide is predeceased by her husband Casper; parents: Martin and Elizabeth Huber, and twelve siblings.
Mom worked hard all her life. She was a stay-at-home Mom who baked, sewed and cared for all of us. Calls to her to say we would be there for dinner would always be answered with, "of course". She loved to knit for everyone around her. A sweater or a doily was always in process by her chair.
In her later years, as her health failed, she loved to do scratch tickets and was always lucky. Nothing very big but always enough for the next round of tickets. She was always willing to hear the stories about what was going on in our lives. Nothing was too big or small and she could always tell when something was up. Mom, I will miss your cinnamon buns, our outings, dinners at the table, conversations, and your unconditional love.
