Mom is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews throughout the valley and beyond.

She spent almost her entire life in the Cowichan Valley and was a proud member of the Cowichan District Hospital Auxillary for over 60 years! She personally knitted thousands of toques for new born babies in CDH. Aldine enjoyed swimming and a good game of scrabble or crib. Everyone was welcomed to her kitchen where she loved to bake, especially apple pies and carrot cakes.

She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ismail and all the nurses, staff and caregivers of 3rd South at CDH. Please consider donations to the Hospital Auxiliary in lieu of flowers.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Tea and Celebration of Aldine's life to be held at the Duncan Christian Reformed Church Hall, 930 Trunk Road, on Saturday February 3, 2018 between 1-4 pm.
