It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Harvey Alfred Osborne quietly at home with his wife and daughter by his side. Harvey is survived by his loving wife Dorothy of 59 years. Daughter Donna (Don), son in law Eric, grandchildren Ryan, Rick (Amber), Erin (Rob) and Matt (Crystal). Great grandchildren Kaelen, Lana and Jax. Brother to Elsie, Doris, Doreen and Harold and Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Also George, Pam ,Helen and Tom. He made the world a better place-- He helped his fellow man. He loved—he gave—he shared with all, He always lent a hand. And now we weep and say goodbye; We had to let you go-- But hold you close within our hearts-- As only love can know. Predeceased by daughter Debbie (14/7/2016), also his parents and older brother and sister. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the Dr’s, nurses and home care workers who took such great care of Harvey. Celebration of life will be held January 15th, 2017 @ 111 McKinstry Rd (clubhouse) Duncan B.C., 1-3 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Cowichan District Hospital in memory of Harvey.
