It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our very special brother Alvin.
Born in Alert Bay on March 24, 1960 and passed one day shy of his 56 birthday.
Predeceased by father; Einar in 1995, brother; Harold in 2000, mother; Lenora in 2009.
Leaves behind sister; Viola (Dennis), brothers; Elton (Christine), Vernon (Shirley). Nieces and nephews who all meant the world to him; Sarha, Clinton, Daniel, Travis, Joseph, Maegan and Clairissa.
Alvin lived in Crofton for the last 16 years and loved the small little communitty.
He was a very private, quiet, gentle man that liked to keep it simple, loved all animals and would give them his full attention. Passing his time listening to music and playing his guitar. Also watching his car shows.
Alvin worked as a Moulder and Planner Operator most of his working life.
The family would like to extend it’s sincere thanks to Dr. Roy Gilbert and staff at CDH for there excellent care and to our friends and family members who have made this easier for us.
At Alvin’s request there will be no service. We will have a tea at Alvin’s sister Viola’s house on April 9 between 2 - 4pm, at 8110 Little Mt. Rd., Westholme.
