Ann Grace Carlson, 57, born Nov. 1, 1958 departed this life Sept. 6, 2016 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Ann is preceded in death by her father, Stan Clarke, and leaves behind her mother Marj Clarke. Ann is missed deeply by her devoted husband Ron Carlson, son Derrick Carlson and daughter Sherrie van Reeuwyk (Lewis) and grandson Keagan; her brother Dave (Kate) Clarke and their children Ashley and Trina. She also leaves her beloved fur babies Winter, Aura, Sable and Clark. Those wishing to send a tribute to Ann, please donate to the BC SPCA in lieu of flowers. Deep thanks to the doctors, nurses, kitchen staff, serving staff, janitorial and reception at Cowichan District Hospital who made the final two months of Ann’s time here as pleasant as possible.
