It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother and wife to loving husband Hansjoerg Bruehler.
On July 30, 2020 after a long and well enjoyed life, our Mom passed away peacefully in Victoria.
Anna-Dora (Dorli) was born on December 3, 1933 in Switzerland; she married her husband Hansjoerg Bruehler in September 1956. They boarded a ship and immigrated to Canada to start their lives together.
She is survived by her loving husband, Hansjoerg Bruehler and her 3 daughters, Evelyne (Paul), Sabrina (Doug), Christina (Tom), beloved grandchildren, Derek, Cody, Lexi, Sean, Oscar, and Ava, great grandchildren, Austin, Ella, Alexa, Nature and Vera.
She was the centre of our family and was immensely proud of her children and grandchildren. She was kind and gracious to everyone, her love boundless. Her gentle ways and comfort were present in all her interactions with family and friends.
She was a wonderful homemaker and cook. She took great pleasure in cooking for her family and having them all together for special occasions. She was an avid reader, always passing the books along. When still able, she took great joy in knitting beautiful clothing for her children and grandchildren. She loved gardening and was always busy in the kitchen canning her bounty.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her; she touched many people's lives, always in a positive way.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favourite charity in her memory.
