Barbara Stange, 84, died peacefully at Cairnsmore Lodge on February 24, 2017. Barbara (nee Spraggett) was born in Trail, BC on October 2, 1932, and resided in Sooke, then in Cowichan Bay. She is survived by her devoted husband Fred of 66 years. She also leaves behind her son Bob (Jan) ; daughter Shelby; two granddaughters, Bobbi and Jamie; two brothers, Ralph (Loretta) and Malcolm (Sharon); great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Barb’s favourite pastimes included baking, the beach and camping with Fred. St. Ann’s Garden Club at Providence Farm also provided Barb with many years of joy.
Flowers are gratefully declined, donations can be made to St. Ann’s Garden Club.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Cairnsmore Lodge for their care and kindness.
A family gathering will be held at a later date.
