In Loving Memory ~
William (Bill) Hutchinson, the beloved husband to Jan, passed away on January 4th, 2023, after losing his battle with ALS.
Bill Celebrated his 76th birthday on Christmas Eve with family and friends. He lived all his life in the Ladysmith (Saltair) area.
Bill was a B.C. Land surveyor for over 40 years. He was an extreme sportsman. During his lifetime he loved sailing, hiking, cycling, fishing, hunting, and playing pickleball.
As a volunteer in Rotary for many years. Bill was also an active member of the Eagles on Wheels camping group. An avid and skilled woodworker, he created many fine pieces of furniture for family and friends and Rotary fund-raisers.
Bill is survived by his wife Jan (puppy Cally), daughters Stephanie (Glenn), and Janet (Craig), brothers Tom (Barb), and Larry (Beckie) and sister Wendy (Craig), 6 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the ALS Society.
A celebration of life will be held in the summer.
