After a hard fought and courageous battle with cancer, Mom passed away peacefully with her loving partner Wayne at her side.
Living a full life and seldom taking a break, Mom made sure each day was productive in helping friends, family and community. Volunteering at hospital auxiliary, involving herself with choir, her popular "Tart 'n tea" bake stand at the Honeymoon Bay market and red hats were hobbies and passions that she led for many years.
Mom was a tough but loving soul who made many friends throughout life, while living in several provinces and travelling much of the world.
Despite being tiny in stature her laughter and conversation could fill even the biggest space, and put a smile on anyone's face within earshot.
She is survived by her son Ian (Sara), her partner Wayne, brothers Don (Colleen) and Brian.
Predeceased by her Mother Lorraine, Father Edmund, brother Michael (Pam), and brother Bob (Joan).
Life is going to be a lot emptier without you, Momma, but you showed me and many others how to be strong in everything you did.
