It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Casper Zerr on April 22, 2016 at Cowichan District Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years Adelaide; sons Herbert (Belsie), Erwin (Sharlane), daughter Margaret (George) Farris; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters Elizabeth Laturnas and Lillian (Oscar) Vossen and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters-in-law Adam (Agatha), Philip (Irene), Jack (Rose), Ed (Emma) Frank and brother-in-law Stan Laturnas. Dad was a “Jack of All Trades” and especially liked working with his hands. He enjoyed fishing, curling and will always be remembered for his willingness to lend a hand to family. Time spent with his grandchildren was always very special. His love for storytelling was entertainment for us all. Thank you to Dr. Gilbert and the nursing staff on 3 South at CDH. Memorial Service will be hold at Sands Funeral Chapel, 187 Trunk Road in Duncan on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 11:00 am. Flowers are gratefully declined.
