Cecelia Theodora (nee Heal) Atchison

In loving memory ~
Cecelia passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on September 13, 2022 at Cowichan District Hospital.
Cecelia was born at the King's Daughter Hospital in Duncan, BC to Len and Theo Heal. Growing up in the Cowichan Lake area, first at Caycuse Camp 6, going to school at Nixon Creek School, then going to school by boat to Youbou, then Speeder into Lake Cowichan to attend school. She moved in 1955 to Lake Cowichan when the road between Caycuse and Lake Cowichan was completed. She enjoyed puzzles, talking with the grandchildren, fishing, baking, and gardening.
Cecelia was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Ron; parents Len and Theo Heal, and brother Frank Heal. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Elaine; sons: Kevin (Michele), Clark (Sherri), and Chris (Sharon); grandchildren Andrew (Haley), Katelyn, Anthony (Krista), Isabella and Nicholas; great grandchildren: Adyn, Eli and Noah; step-grandchildren: Scott, Chris, Laurie and their families; sister Shirley Walt; sister-in-law Lois Atchison; nieces and nephews: Lissa (Doug), Linda (Tony), Ronnie (Gin), Tamara, Scott, David (Kelly), Mark (Jess) and Ryan; and numerous cousins.
The family would like to thank the many wonderful people at Sherwood House. Many sincere thanks to all the Doctors and caring team at the Cowichan District Hospital.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on September 30, 2022, at Sands Funeral Chapel - Duncan, BC, 187 Trunk Road.
