It's with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Cecil Lendrum Tyerman, following a brief battle with cancer.
Predeceased by his wife Lois of 53 years; brothers Stan and Albert (Hap); sisters Marg, Pauline and Audrey. Survived by sister Shirl and children Janet (Mike), Cindy, Brent (Judy), Bruce (Joe Ann) and numerous grandchildren.
Len started working at the Chemainus Saw Mill in 1947, continuing on to be a Saw Filer, until the mill closed in 1983. After the closure of Chemainus Mill he then went to work for Doman's until his retirement.
Len enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and having his monthly chinese food lunch with the guys.
On behalf of the family we would like to thank all the staff at The Lodge on Fourth, in Ladysmith, for the exceptional care that our father received in his final months.
A memorial tea will be held on September 22, 2018, at The Valley Seniors Centre in Duncan, (198 Government St). Please feel free to drop in anytime between 2 pm - 4 pm.
