It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cecile, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband Nicholas, children Kurt, Michelle (David), and Cynthia (Harley), and grandchildren Nicholas, Janine, Miller, Spencer, and Laurel. She also leaves her brothers Peter (Shawn) and John, and sister-in-law Betty.
Cecile was born in Gravelbourg, SK, grew up there and in Winnipeg before moving to Germany in 1958 to be married to Nicholas where he was serving with the Canadian Armed Forces.
Upon returning, she raised her family and worked with her husband in their hotel business contributing greatly to its growth and success until her retirement.
Cecile had a real love of design and took great pride in always making a beautiful home warm and welcoming to family and friends. She and Nicholas enjoyed many travels together exploring new places and revisiting those special to them both.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to her Victoria Hospice Care team.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
