Charles William 'Chuck' Boyles

December 26, 1942 - October 20, 2021
Charles 'Chuck' William Boyles, born December 26, 1942, sadly left us October 20, 2021. Born to James and Dorothy Boyles, and a lifetime resident of Cowichan Bay, Chuck was the eldest son of five children: Joan, Suzanne, Faye, and Michael.
Chuck leaves his wife of 59 years, Joanne as well as his three children: Rick, Terry (Sheena) and Jason; grandchildren: Brittany, Jennifer, Trevor, Rebecca (Josh) and Mathew; great grandchildren: Mason, Everly and Elaina. He will also be dearly missed by many other family members and countless friends.
Chuck was a very successful businessman with Gravel Hill Supplies. Traveling, bowling, and fishing were Chuck and Joanne's favourite past-times.
They also loved watching the Montreal Canadians, Vancouver Canucks, BC Lions, Toronto Blue Jays and playing the horses as well as working on their ponderosa together.
Special thanks to the nurses and doctors of the ICU at Cowichan District Hospital for their care of Chuck.

I've finished life's chores assigned to me.
So put me in a boat and head out to sea.
Please send along my fishing pole.
For I've been invited to the fishing hole.

Where every day is a day to fish
To fill your heart with every wish.
Don't worry or feel sad for me
I'm fishing with the master of the sea.

We will miss each other for a while
But you can come and bring your smile
That won't be long, you will see
Till we're together, you and me.

To all those that think of me
Be happy as I go out to sea
If others wonder why I'm missing
Just tell 'em I've gone fishing.

A Celebration of Life will be held outdoors from 1 pm - 4 pm on Saturday, November 6, 2021 with open mic beginning at 2 pm; 1467 Cowichan Bay Road, Cowichan Bay, BC.
