Died peacefully at home on January 8, 2018 at the age of 66. He had just returned from what he said was the best ever vacation of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Cheryl, children Janis Brooks, Patrick Brooks and Pam Brooks Rivet, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, along with 7 siblings, many nieces and nephews, a vast circle of friends, and his beloved dog Skruff.
Born in Richmond, California, Conan was the second eldest of 11 children.
He was predeceased by parents Farrell and Rita, sisters Tina, Mary, Peg and Jayne, daughter Mary, son Tim, and great granddaughter Leah.
Services will be held at the Duncan Shaker Church at 3105 Church Road.
Prayers will be Thursday, January 11th at 7 PM and the funeral will be Friday, January 12th at 10 AM.
A Celebration of Life lunch will be held on Sunday, January 14th in Chilliwack at the Richard Malloway Memorial Longhouse at 12 PM.
