Dave Schneider

Dave Schneider was born in 1951 and passed away peacefully at home in Shawnigan Lake, on September 26, 2021, after a lengthy illness. Dave lived in Victoria and knew many people there as he did service work, of various kinds, for most of his work life. His favourite jobs were at Victoria Tire and Indufast (Industrial Fasteners). He loved his family, motorcycles, cars, dogs and rock music.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnne, his sister, Mary (Harv) and his blended family, of whom he was very proud: Leslie (Dave), Robyn (Art), Charmaine (Jeff), Brad (Emily) and seven grandchildren.
Special thanks to: the staff at Victoria General and Royal Jubilee Hospitals, the Cowichan Palliative Care Team, Dr. Kapongo, BC Ambulance Station, Mill Bay, and the Shawnigan Lake Volunteer Fire Department for the remarkable care in difficult times.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for October 16, 2021 from 1:00-3:00pm at HW Wallace Cremation & Burial Center in Duncan. Online condolences can be made at www.hwwallacecbc.com. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the SPCA on Dave's behalf.
