June 12, 1931 - February 12, 2019
David Passed away peacefully at home in his 88th year. Born in Victoria, he lived his whole life in the Cowichan Valley. He became a logger at a very early age in his dad's "gypo" logging outfit. He was setting chokers at the age of thirteen and driving the Cat by the time he was fifteen. A lifelong hunter and fisherman, he was happiest out in the woods with a rifle, or out in the salt chuck with a rod in his hand. He was a staunch member of the local Elks Club for fifty-seven years. Those who knew him appreciated and expected his sense of (no holds barred, tell it like it is ) candour and his unique sense of humour.

He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his wife Joan, siblings Dianne Pollock (Larry), Nancy Middlemiss (Dennis), John Walker (Pat), Roger Walker (Vicki), many nieces and nephews and a very large clan of Evans and Auchinachie cousins.

Celebration of Life will be held March 16, 2019 at 1 pm H.W. Wallace 5285 Polkey Road, Duncan, B.C.
