Dave passed away peacefully at the age of 77 on November 13, 2021 in Cowichan Hospice House surrounded by family and friends. He was born on December 21, 1943 in Victoria BC, moving to the Cowichan Valley at the age of 3. Predeceased by parents Eric and Eunice Aronson, brothers Carl and Gordon, wife Dawn (mother of Lisa and Shawn). He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Suzanne, blended family, Scott, Lisa (Shawn), Shawn (Michelle), Stefanie, Christian (Eowyn), grandchildren, Greyson, Brody, Jordyn, Mekayla, Fallyn, Emily-Dawn, Rylan, Carter and a granddaughter on the way. Dave worked in the BC Forest Industry for 42 years, retiring in 2006 as a Logging Truck Driver. In his words, "best job I ever a had!" He was a member of the Malahat Lions Club for 45 plus years, spent countless hours in his workshop creating beautiful woodworking pieces and restoring his 1955 Ford F250 pickup truck. He was a gentle, loving and compassionate man, who will be missed by all who knew him. Private Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, November 28, 2021.
