It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew and friend, David George Cathers. After a hard-fought battle with cancer, David (80) passed peacefully on the morning of August 10, 2021, and he was reunited with the love of his life, Beverly.
Predeceased by his wife, Beverly of 56 years, David is survived by his children Paul, Kim (Richard), Chrisy, Ron and seven grandchildren - Kai, Kinsey, Nicolas, George, Elyse, Kristian and Sophia. David also leaves behind siblings Marlene, Shirley, and Ken (Inge), along with many relatives, friends and Pepper - his faithful pup.
A special thank you to Dr. James Broere, and the team at Chemainus Medical Clinic and Dr. Michael Garfinkle of Nanaimo for the exceptional medical care and support provided to David.
