It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of David Samuels Adams, on November 26 2018, age 84.

David was born in London to his parents Karl and Betty Lall on November 20, 1934.

At the age of 3 months, he moved with his parents to India, his father's home land. After graduation from Bishop Cotton school in Shimla, he travelled to Calcutta where he trained as a tea broker, for Carritt Moran for about 7 years. Leaving India, he travelled Europe, worked in London, finally settling in Toronto.

In 1975, he accepted a contract with CIDA that took his family to Maseru, Lesotho, Southern Africa, with the National Development Corporation. After two years, he returned to Canada, left his position at Humber College and moved his family to Victoria, to work for the Provincial Government in Finance, then Advanced Education.

In 1992, David moved to the Cowichan Valley after meeting his companion and best friend of 26 years, Jerry Tothill They shared travels to Europe and India, as well as with family and friends.
