November 10, 1926 - April 4, 2025

In loving memory ~

Dennis was born November 10, 1926, in Nipawin, Saskatchewan, to Frank Sr. and Rose Middlemiss. He passed away peacefully in his sleep, April 4, 2025. He lived a good, long life, with his devoted wife, Nancy, by his side.

Dennis was a World War 2 Veteran, lying about his age so he could fight for the freedom of his Country. He was a hard worker, helping out many neighbors with projects, supporting them with his expertise on pretty much anything! He knew much about multiple things.

Dennis was a dedicated Longshoreman for many years, retiring around the age of 60.

He and Nancy loved camping, and for quite a few years they spent months at the Cluxewe Campground. A lot of fishing, card games, horseshoes was enjoyed, and just the complete enjoyment of visiting with wonderful friends.

Dennis was predeceased by eldest son, Jim; step-daughter, Kathy; son-in-law, Carl; granddaughter, Alicia; and grandsons, Daniel and Nick.

He is survived and dearly missed by his wife of more than 45 years, Nancy; his children (with first wife Florence): Lynne (Ray) Hallam, Terry (Terry) Smith, Diane (Julien) Oulette, Barry (Fiona) Middlemiss, Robin (Karen) Middlemiss, and Karen Middlemiss; his step-children: Sheryl West, Brenda (Bacon) Clarke, Rhonda Mellings (Dave), Debbie (Ed) Lebitschnig, and John (Michele) West; 30 grands, 56 greats, and 6 great-greats. He also leaves behind his sister, Marie, and many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering was held Sunday, April 13, at First Memorial Funeral Home.
