Donald Eric Byers

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Father, Husband, Papa, Brother, Uncle, Best friend and most amazing Man, Donald Byers, on July 22nd, 2019, with his family around him.
Don as he liked to be called, passed far too soon at the age of 68 after a brief battle with cancer. He will be at peace now with his Father Norman & Mother Rose, along with his one and only dog Ginger.
Don will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife Dolores, his children Dustin, Melissa, (Joel), & Brenton, (Sammie). His grandchildren Aiden, Parker, Nixon, Finley (mother Erin) & Cassidy. His brother David (Gail), mother-in-law Laura, along with many niece's & nephew's, extended family & lots of friends, especially his best friend John.
Don made friends with everyone he met, he was a loving, caring, jolly, happy but extremely stubborn man with a heart of gold. When he found out about his illness, it never stopped him from giving his family the best trip, filled with the most memorable moments. We will be forever grateful for that time we all had with him and making Don's bucket list trip to Antigua in the Caribbean happen.
A celebration of life will be held on August 9th, 2019 at 2 pm, at Arbutus Ridge Golf Coarse, 3515 Telegraph Road, Cobble Hill. Online condolences may be made at www.hwwallacebc.com
