January 21, 1940 - March 27, 2019
Beloved husband of Jane, Don was born in Galt, Ontario, and joined the RCMP in 1960, retiring in 1995. He worked mainly in counter- intelligence and training, with the last four years as principal of the Canadian Police College in Ottawa. He is an Honours graduate in political science from the University of Manitoba and is a published author in foreign policy.
He and Jane moved to Duncan in September 1995 and have enjoyed boating the BC waters. They both served on the executive of the Maple Bay Yacht Club and Don was President of the Probus Club of Duncan in 2000-2002.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Maple Bay Yacht Club on April 30th, 2-4 pm.
