Elijiah Jacob Haberman

July 18, 1998 - October 2, 2017

It is with deepest sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, Elijiah Jacob Haberman, who was born July 18th, 1998 in Sundre, AB.

Elijiah was known for his infectious and loving personality, kind smile, joyous laughter, loyal friendship, fun demeanor, quick wit, and the occasional pun.

Elijiah was mechanically minded. He had a passion for working on things and figuring them out, including his cars, electronics, appliances, construction, and games. He embodied modesty and rarely, if ever, boasted about his many achievements.

Elijiah grew up in Leduc, attending elementary through to high school where he graduated with honors from Leduc Composite High School in 2016.

He was involved in soccer, volunteered in many local community-building projects, volunteer activities, and was a dedicated hard working employee.

Elijiah will be forever loved, treasured and remembered by all of those who knew him.

Elijiah is survived by his parents: Al and Sarah, and sisters: Gabriella and Alexandra of Leduc, AB. Grandparents: Jack and Rita Haberman of Lethbridge, AB, Diana Haberman of Coalhurst, AB, John and MaryAnna Lang of Duncan, BC.

He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his uncle; Shane Haberman.

The Funeral Service was held on Thursday, October 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Daystar Church, Leduc, AB with Pastor Grant McDowell officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a charity of importance to you.

Elijiah was known for giving to others and considered the work of the Mustard Seed, Leduc Food Bank, and mental health important.
