With heavy hearts, Betty and David regretfully announce the sudden passing of their daughter Liz at her Duncan apartment, in the late hours of Thursday January 12th.

Liz is survived by her son, Andrew (age 15) , and Andrew’s father, Mark Foucher residing in Duncan. Other immediate family include her brother Dave and his son Ryan (age 17),

Aunt Anne Caljouw and her children Michael (Gabi), Stephen (Sharon), Michelle, and Shawn (Tami), Aunt Marsha Haywood in Los Angeles, and cousin Denise Mullin in Winnipeg.

Liz was born in Duncan and has resided in the Cowichan Valley most of her 45 years, completing high school in 1990 at Cowichan Secondary. Shortly after high school, she completed an Industrial First Aid course, obtaining the highest qualification for level 3 certification. She then worked part time relief as a Plant Protection Officer, at the Crofton pulp & paper mill for several years prior to her son’s birth after which time she devoted herself to full time motherhood. In recent years, she was unable to work due to medical disabilities.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Peters Anglican Church, 5800 Church Road, on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 2:00 PM with a reception to follow at the church hall.
