Elizabeth passed away peacefully in Duncan, BC at Cairnsmore Place. Predeceased by her parents, siblings, other relatives and her husband Samuel Pickles in 1997. She is survived by her loving daughter Anne Welch (Terry), her loving son Sammy and grandchildren Julie (Jason), Jennifer (Mark), Jaqueline and great grandchildren Kyle and Amber.
Born in Liverpool, England, Elizabeth served with the British Women’s Auxiliary Army Corps during World War 2 where she met Samuel and married. In the 1980’s Elizabeth and Samuel immigrated to Canada to join her daughter Anne and family.
There will be no service by request and Inurnment will take place at Mountain View Cemetery in Duncan.
