Mum was born and raised in Christchurch, England, the last of four children. She met her future husband Roy when he was stationed in Bournemouth during the Second World War. After the war Ena left her home in England and she and Roy were married in Christopher Lake, Saskatchewan in the fall of 1946. After their marriage Mum and Dad resided in Prince Albert where they raised their two children, Suzanne and Brian. When Dad retired from the railroad they moved to Duncan where they enjoyed their retirement together for the next 35 years. Mum led a quiet life, and particularly enjoyed her family, her friends, and her garden. Mum spent her last couple of years at Deertrail Cottage which she considered “home” and where she was well cared for.

Ena was predeceased in 2015 by Roy, her husband of 68 years. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Suzanne Perkins (Doug) of Duncan, her son Brian of Mennon, Saskatchewan, and her three grandchildren, Jason, Lisa, and Andrew. Mum, you are truly missed and will always have a place in our hearts.

We love you.
