Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the Cowichan District Hospital. Born in Regina, Saskatchewan on April 27, 1929. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert (1994). Loving mother of her 3 children, son Robert (Joyce) of Ontario, son David and daughter Jo-Anne of Cobble Hill. Also survived by her 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, her cousins and many friends. Throughout her life, Ethel was a member of the St. John Anglican Church, Royal Canadian Legion Br. 226, Ladies Auxiliary, ACW, Farmers Institute at Cobble Hill, Cowichan Dog Obedience, 4-H Goat Club, and many others. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, 3295 Cobble Hill Road, Cobble Hill BC on Thursday, August 03, 2017 at 12:00 pm. This will be a time to remember her wonderful life and we encourage you to come ready to share your stories.
