We would like to announce the passing of our father, brother, uncle, grandfather, brother-in-law, friend and colleague.
Gary passed away peacefully April 18, 2020. Predeceased by his parents William and Muriel Sutherland and his second wife Mary. He will be dearly missed by Deirdre (Calvin, Melissa, Steven), David (Teresa, James, Amalia, Concetteena, Gabriel, Michael), Colleen (Darren, Hannah, Avery). His siblings Carl (Ritva), Linda (Peter), Donald (Cecile), David, Kevin (Lynne) of Ontario. His in-laws Shirley (Jim), Peter (Ann), Colleen of Salmon Arm and many nieces and nephews across Canada. Gary loved to travel, give advice or tell a story that always led into a tale about his Navy days.
A memorial will be held after the health concerns and restrictions are lifted.
