George William Woodcock

George was born in Revelstoke BC March 20 1952, Died in Duncan BC August 30 2019
George was predeceased by parents Stewart and Margaret, and sister Elli. Survived by brothers Tony (Nola), Al (Linda), Mike (Doris), Joe (Bhawna) and sister Cathie (Bill), and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
George spent his earlier years logging and log scaling, and always talked of the many good friends he met along the way. He was a bit of a poet and storyteller and quite a bit of his work reflects these times. George also spent quite a few years in the Mental Health field working in group homes in the Cowichan Valley.
George was a gentle man with a heart of gold and will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial will be held in the Eagles Hall, Duncan BC, Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 1 pm.
