Gladys Lundstrom

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gladys Lundstrom on October 1, 2017 at Cerwydden Care Home, Duncan BC.
She was born in Maryfield, Saskatchewan on March 6, 1925 to Adam and Annie Hitchcock.
She is survived by her husband of 69 year Art Lundstrom, her children Esther (Ron) Wheatley, Eileen (David) Clode, Gerry (Laura) Lundstrom, and Kevin (Carol) Lundstrom, her 10 grandchildren and 8 great grand children.
Gladys moved to Duncan in 1948 where she met and married the love of her life, Art Lundstrom.
Gladys enjoyed gardening and her dahlias were her pride andjoy. Every visitor in the summer went home with a dahlia bouquet.
Art and Gladys were active travellers in their retirement. They moved to Wedgwood House in 2009, where she actively participated in activities and enjoyed making new friends.
