Glen was born in Maidstone, Sask. and made his home in Saskatoon until 1988 when he retired from Sask-Tel and moved to the Lake Cowichan district.
Glen was pre-deceased by his wife, Audrey Coulter and is survived by his children, Les Richardson (Colleen) and Barb Richardson as well as grandchildren, Jillian Hoban, and Morgan and Logan Richardson. Glen was lucky enough to spend his last few years with his loving companion, Hilda Leverington.
Glen was an avid sports fan and was a member of the March Meadows Golf Club for many years. He also enjoyed participating in a bowling league with Hilda and was active at the Seniors Centre and the Royal Canadian Legion in Lake Cowichan. He was a good card player, and lucky, too. It was hard to beat him at rummy or crib.
Prior to leaving Saskatoon, Glen was a long-time member of the Cosmopolitan Club and enjoyed the comradery and the many charitable endeavours the club undertook.
Glen was a loving father, devoted husband, and lucky in love – twice! He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
