August 1, 1924 - May 16, 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our stepfather, Gordon Cartwright on May 16, 2021.
Gord lived a long and satisfying life and is survived by his stepdaughter, Coralie Dyck (Walter); stepson, Glen Mullett; step grandchildren: Gene Stephenson (Tanya), Samantha Mullett (Jason McGimpsey), and step great-granddaughter, Violette McGimpsey.
Gordon spent much of his early years helping his mother run the post office in Michel, BC, and during WWII, he served on the HMCS Uganda in the Pacific theatre. Afterwards, he embarked on a long and satisfying career with BC Ferries.
A special thank you goes out to all of Gordon's friends and caregivers over many years.
