It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of a truly great man, Gordon Graf. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Yvonne of 46 years, 9 children and their spouses, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. Gordon was born in Spring Hill, Nova Scotia, 1 of 9 children. He left his parents blueberry farm and headed to B.C. at the young age of 16. He lived for many years in McLeese Lake working as a Mill Foreman while raising 5 sons and 1 daughter. In 1971 he met Yvonne Lautsch of Vancouver, and her 3 daughters, and after a two year courtship, they married and resided in Duncan for many years. He worked as a millwright before securing a position with School District #65 for more than 20 years, as a custodian, then as a Custodial Supervisor, a job he loved. Gordon was known as a man of his word and a kind soul whose smile brightened any room. He lived a successful and fulfilled life, measured by his family and friends. He will be truly missed and never forgotten. A memorial service to be announced at a later date.
