GWENDOLYN passed away peacefully in the Cowichan District Hospital on Sunday, July 3rd, 2016 at the age of 87 years, after a long illness. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Tom; her daughter in law, Deanna; her grandchildren: Dane, MacEwan, Jacob, and Mya; her sister, Beverley; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members; and her large number of friends in the local community and elsewhere. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Koziol; her parents, John and Florence; and her brother, Dennis. As per Gwen’s wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. The best way to honour her memory would be to take a loved one or friend to lunch and enjoy their company. Her ashes will be buried by her late husband at the Holy Ascension Russian Orthodox Church of Calmar, Alberta.
