She was active with service groups, Royal Purple in Revelstoke and Eastern Star in Duncan. She was active in the United Church and sang in the choir for many years. She tried her hand at skiing while in Revelstoke and enjoyed a love/hate relationship with golf for many years, eventually settling on weekly golf on TV. Mom was very outgoing and made many lifelong friends in all of the communities that she lived. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and people she worked with.
