It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mother and Gram. Surrounded by her family, Mom slipped away peacefully on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
Survived by daughters Ann-Marie (Wayne) Wrigglesworth and Brenda (Greg) McLeod and her three grandchildren Jackie, Sarah and Shane. The grandchildren always brought many smiles to Mom's face. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her father Warren 1957, mother Mary 2007, sisters Marion 1995 and Lorraine 2017.
Mom was proud to have lived and worked her whole life in the Cowichan Valley. With fond memories of the family farm near Cowichan Station and lots of friends in the various organizations and groups that she belonged to.
Mom was a strong and independent woman and we are grateful to her for passing that on to us.
We would like to thank special friend Penny. Dr. Ann Thompson. The nurses and doctors at Cowichan District Hospital for the care they gave Mom in her last few days. The staff and friends at Wedgwood House.
There will be no service by request and flowers are gratefully declined. If you wish, donations can be made to the Cowichan Guide Hall.
