Passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on November 16th, 2016.
Helene was born in Broderick, Saskatchewan to Andrew and Gunhild Wasend. on December 1st, 1926.
She met her future husband Ralston Ronald Burton Rahmer in Prince Rupert, B. C. a few months before he was sent to war in 1944. When he returned they were married on January 7th, 1947. After a happy marriage of fifty-two years, Ron passed away January 6th, 1999.
Helene was predeceased by grandson Mathew Granger July 4th 1981. Daughter Beverly Granger, August 6th, 1997.
Survived by her daughter Judy Rahmer , granddaughter, Jordan Ives, grandson Robin Granger (Sara), great granddaughter, Maya Granger, and many nieces and nephews.
She loved her family and gardening.
No funeral by request, but there will be a memorial tea at her home on December 3, at 1:00pm.
