He was a lifetime member of the Cowichan Fish and Game association, he spent over 30 years with Island Processing rendering plant and retired from Managing the plant in 1991. Jack and Freda spent a few years traveling down south in the winters in their 5th wheel enjoying the Arizona weather and spending time with friends. One of Jack's passions was fishing, Jack and Freda spent many summers out at Port Renfrew. He also enjoyed prawning with his close friend Harry Driver. Jack enjoyed playing horseshoes with Freda and their many friends out at the range in Glenora. He lived a wonderful life full of family, friends and adventure.
We would like to thank Dr Kubatskyy and the amazing staff at Cairnsmore Place for all the care you gave him. He wasn't always the easiest to deal with, but you all took such great care of him and helped make his last 8 months a little more comfortable. There are a few of you that went above and beyond for Jack, his wife and his daughters. Thank you so much for everything.
