June 10, 1937 - January 11, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jacqueline Eunice Pearson on January 11, 2019 after a long battle with dementia.
Jackie was born in Nanaimo on June 10, 1937 to John and Eunice Fiddick. Jackie loved attending dances with her friends. That is where she met Don Pearson who became her forever dance partner and husband of 56 years. They settled in Lake Cowichan and eventually moved to Duncan.
Jackie is survived by her husband Don, daughters Cindy and Sheryl (Ron), grandchildren Jeremy, Jessica, Meagan and Matthew as well as sisters Phyllis and Eleanor (Ray) plus many relatives and friends.
A special thank you to the staff at Cairnsmore and CDH for the love and care they gave Jackie.
Jackie was a sweet kind lady who shared her beautiful smile with all she encountered.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 8 from 1 to 3 pm at the Valley Seniors Center, 198 Government Street, Duncan, BC.
