“It is with much sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of JEAN ALICE JORDAN, at Duncan, B.C. Jean put up a Long & Courageous fight and lost her final battle with Ovarian cancer in the early hours of October 13th 2016. She leaves to mourn her passing: Her loving husband, Jim (JJ) Jordan ; Son, Kevin Hughes; Step-son, Donnie (Denise) Jordan; Step-daughter, Keri (Graeme) Murray. The apple’s of her eye, her Grandchildren: Kyle (Jessie) Hughes; Tiarnan, Sophia, Hanna Murray; and Dustin & Sydney Jordan. Siblings: Shirley (Stan) Allen; Bud (Lorraine) Hughes; Jack (Linda) Hughes; Kaye (Boris) Jankovic; Sister-in-law Sonja(Ed) Blundell ; Brother-in-law; Ken (Diane) Jordan, as well as many loving nieces, nephews & friends. Jean was predeceased by her twin Brother James Arnold in March 1947; her Father, Clarence in April 1964 and her Mother, Alice in December 2008. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her and remembered for her kind, loving, and fun ways.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 – 4 pm
on October 22 at the Eagles Hall (921 1st Ave)
in Ladysmith.
