Jerald Lee Mattin

August 26, 1954 - September 22, 2021
In Loving Memory ~ It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerald Lee Mattin.
Born and raised in Duncan, Jerry had made his home in Fort St James the last few years, where he had found an amazing community and second family. A lifelong logger and truck driver, Jerry loved his work and when he wasn't working, enjoyed much of his last few years on the road on one of his beloved Harleys.
Jerry is predeceased by his mother, Sharon Kaspick and his father and stepmother, Ron and Lavonne Mattin.
He will be greatly missed by his two daughters,
Jenny and Jessica, his son-in-law Mike and his granddaughter Ryeleigh; as well as his stepfather Vern Kaspick, brothers Randy (Cathy) and Bert, sister Janice, his niece and nephews and all of the wonderful friends he considered family.
Special thanks to Chrissie Nelson, Rick Scheper and Nadine & Brad Hoy of Fort St James for all of your help and for being such good friends to our Dad these last few years.
A remembrance gathering will be held at the upper picnic shelter at Bright Angel Park on Saturday, October 30th, 2021 from 1 pm-3 pm.
