It is with heavy hearts we announce Joan’s sudden passing on February 22, 2017 after a short courageous battle with cancer.
Joan was born on October 2, 1939 in Powell River B.C. The first of three children to Jack and Irene Taylor. Joan was predeceased by her parents, brother Dave, and her son Guy. Joan is survived by her husband of 25 years John, son Ken (Yvonne), grandchildren Brittni (Cody) and Darcy, sister Sue (Ron), nieces and nephews. Joan’s Passion for the past 10 years were her winters in Yuma, AZ with John where they created many new friendships. Unfortunately this winter was cut short by her illness.
There is no service by request but a private family gathering will be held. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated.
