Joan slipped away from us, reaching out and holding our hands to help us through her passing. We will miss our mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend.
She touched many lives; in fact that is what gave her life. She lived for her family and community for 93 years, serving others in many organisations including the city of Duncan, as a counselor, the school district, the NDP, the church and most recently on the Peace pole committee. Joan believed that “the decisions we make together are the best decisions.”
Join us on Friday, August 25th at 1pm at the Duncan United Church to say good-bye and be together in loving community.
