In Loving Memory ~
Born May 15th, 1955 in St. Catherine's, Ontario. Karen Elizabeth Misner (later, Worthington) spent only her early years in Ontario with her mother Mary, Father Harold & sister Gail before moving west around the age of 20 where she met her husband, Kevin. She raised her two boys - Ryan & Craig in the Cowichan Valley, the place she would call home for her remaining years.
Karen was known for her kindness and generosity and will be remembered for these qualities. Karen, aka, "Bama" had a lot to be proud of in her life, but nothing more than her two grandchildren - Abigale & Hank. She passed away quickly & peacefully the night of August 17th comfortable in her own home. In her wake, she passes the torch to her daughter in-law, Adrianne. Your family is in good hands, Ma.
She leaves behind her husband Kevin, brother in-law Trel, Ryan, Adrianne, Abigale & Hank, Craig & Emily, and her Ontario family- sister Gail, nieces Katie, Amy & son - Kayden, and their significant others. Her passing has left an impossible hole in our lives that not even time will heal. But it's ok. We will keep you in our thoughts, memories and hearts and call on you throughout the years for more of your sage wisdom and guidance. We love you Bama. See you on the beach.
A celebration of life will be held at the Lake Cowichan Legion on September 8th from 11:30-3:30.
