Aug 18, 1946 - Dec 24, 2017
Our dear Kathleen left us peacefully after a brief but valiant struggle following surgery.

She is predeceased by her parents Robert and Kathleen Noble, and her oldest sister, Laurie R. Noble, November 2017.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years Alastair, sisters Marnie Noble (Blaine) and Dena McPhee, daughter Darcey, grand-daughter, Mikayla, step-children Carmen, Shannon, Melanie, and grand-children Christopher, Morgan, Randy, Avalon, Keely, Cody and Liam.

Kathleen's life was devoted to her family. Her calendar was always well-marked with birthdays, anniversaries and special events for all. She loved to bake and none of us will ever forget her many yummy "money" cakes. Her fridge was always full of good stuff to eat and she had a special fridge just for pop and juice for the kids, and there was always chocolate.

Kath loved her many beautiful gardens and was often found on her knees, ass in the air, hands in the dirt with a smile on her face. She was never too busy to stop for coffee, a smoke and a good chat with anyone who dropped by for a visit.

Kathleen had been an avid supporter of the Kaatza Lakeside Players' Society from it's inception 32 years ago with many roles onstage, offstage, on the Board, every bake sale and car wash - she was always contributing. Her final role was in Nunsense and oh how she cracked us up!

While living on the shores of our beautiful Cowichan Lake for many years, Kathleen often swam late into October, and many mornings her little form could be spotted thru the mist off the lake. She was always singing or whistling and her songs were always happy ones.

Kathleen will be very sadly missed by all who knew and loved her, but if you look outside on a chilly October morning, you might catch a glimpse of a lone swimmer thru the morning mist of the lake. Swim on Kath.

A private gathering is being held for immediate family members, and a Celebration of Life for family and friends is being planned for the new year, date to be announced.
