Keith passed away at the Lodge on 4th in Ladysmith following a long term battle with Alzheimer’s. He was the beloved husband of Eva Mundy and loving father to Darin, Lisa, Justin and Kevin. He was the brother of Donald Mundy (Diane) of Burlington, NC and sister to Melody McCaughey (partner David). He will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren Brian, Wayne, Adrienne, Christopher, Nicole, Ryan and Logan and his great granddaughter Myla. He was predeceased by his sister Heather.

Keith married Marg Pickles on Sept 9, 1961 in Calgary and they had two children Darin (Tracey) and Lisa (Andy) Newman.

He married Susan Taylor on Aug. 6, 1971 in Victoria and had two children Justin and Kevin.

He married Eva his wife of 34 years on June 21, 1982 in Calgary.

Keith was a very brilliant and capable man having earned his BSc. In Zoology, MSc. In Zoology, Diploma in Public Administration and C.A.E. designation in the Canadian Society of Association Executives. He was an accomplished public speaker having won the Golden Gavel award with Victoria Toastmasters. He loved to participate in ballroom dancing with Eva at the Victoria Ballroom Dance Society.

He worked as a Regional Biologist for BC Fish and Wildlife Branch, Manager for Beak Consultants Vancouver, Manager for Environmental Affairs Petro-Canada of Calgary, Sales Manager for Black Sivalls & Bryson Calgary. Manager Retail Council of Canada, Consultant for Environmental Affairs McIntyre Mines Calgary and Director for Regulatory Affairs for A.T.A. Calgary.

We will miss the twinkle in his eyes, his intelligence, sense of fun, love of music, dancing and food. He had a quiet and serene demeanor and a great love of nature. His love of chocolate was legendary.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to the Tidewater unit at the Lodge on 4th for their kind and compassionate care of our Keith.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 17 at 1:00 PM at H.W. Wallace Cremation and Burial Centre, 5285 Polkey Road, Duncan, BC
