With great sorrow and grief I am announcing the death of my wife of 30 years and best friend for over 40 years. Kim passed away in her sleep –I miss you!

Kim is leaving behind her husband Neal Lowry, her son Mitch Lowry (Jaclynn Berrow) and her 2 beloved granddaughters Danica and Amelia. Her grandchildren were the love of her life and brought her much joy and they had created a very special bond. The last three days of Kim’s life were spent with them playing, laughing and dancing. Patience and love was her personality.

Kim worked for the Chemainus Theatre for 19 years and was currently working for the Ramada Inn as a server –she lived and breathed that the people she was serving were guests, not customers. The impact she had on guests was profound as many of her guests became her friends.

Kim loved life. She loved the people in her life and dedicated herself to her work. Speaking on behalf of the many family, friends and guests; we will always miss your smile and your love.

Kim is predeceased by her son Greg Keith, her father and brother. Kim’s family is in Winnipeg and a Celebration of her Life is also planned with her family there including her mother Olga Tallaire, sisters Tammy, Connie, Amanda and brother James and her many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 15th at the Ramada Inn, Duncan from 1:30-4:00 please join us – a charitable box for the Salvation Army will be set up in lieu of flowers.
